September 2023 Monthly Horoscope
Aries (Mar. 21 – Apr. 20)
Aries do like to feel that they’re in control; situations, relationships, feelings . . . whatever it is, they’re only happy if they’re calling the shots. However, dig a little deeper and you’ll find it’s linked to the fear of losing control that drives them, not necessarily the desire to rule. Unfortunately, Aries are the last people to admit that there are any chinks in their armor.
You now face the prospect of having to deal with something that you have no control over whatsoever and the best way to do that is to let it run its course! Interfere or attempt to manipulate this month’s surprise package and you’ll simply find yourself tied up in knots. People around you won’t appreciate your lack of cooperation but you’ll be the one to benefit in the long run!
Taurus (Apr. 20 – May 21)
As per September 2023 horoscope, circumstances this month call for a certain degree of calculation; it’s a matter of how much or how little you decide to participate in the forming of new relationships or the survival of old ones and it’s quite likely that less will prove to be more.
You’re eager to make your mark but a lack of social reservation might appear needy so before you cast caution to the wind, cool your heels! Let others do the running and you’ll be sure of their sincerity.
Meanwhile, what’s the rush? Allow time for what’s important and have faith that the people and situations that are meant to be in your life will come of their own accord. Relax and be yourself; flashy facades soon fade but safe, solid foundations will stand the test of time!
Gemini (May 21 – Jun. 21)
According to the September 2023 horoscope, there is the possibility of creating a lasting friendship this month but bonds are formed on trust and if you have a cunning plan to get your own way, forget it! I can hear those conniving Gemini cogs grinding from here!!!
If an opportunity to achieve or acquire what you want arises in September and you catch a twinkle in your eye as you pass the mirror, try to resist the urge to plot and scheme! You’ll also be inclined to listen only to those that tell you what you want to hear but you’ll never hear anything advantageous that way!
Base the choices you make on what is reliable (however dull that may appear to be) and strive to keep your head out of the clouds. A not-so-obvious someone from the past could have you overturning a recent decision!
Cancer (Jun. 21 – Jul. 22)
I think September will put each and every one of us to the test, although how and why we’re being tested will be different. You might find yourself swept along by unfavorable circumstances for a while; possibly you’ll be out of step with someone in authority!
Remaining steadfast and insuring that your inner light burns bright, even if outside influences seem to be working against you, is the way forward. This may mean keeping quiet about something you don’t agree with but it doesn’t mean condoning the situation or going along with it.
Don’t worry, just as it all seems to be getting out of hand, fate steps in and deals a blow for freedom. Tables will eventually be turned in your favor and with very little effort from you!
Leo (Jul. 22 – Aug. 22)
You look set to make progress this month in an area that may have more to do with serving others than pampering your own needs. What’s quite plain is that an altruistic attitude applied to a demanding task can benefit you in the long run – in other words, your efforts won’t go unrewarded!
Of course, I can’t guarantee what those rewards may be but there’s a good chance that they will be fiscal as well as philanthropic.
By the end of September 2023, you will be feeling rather good about yourself. Putting yourself out for others leaves less time to dwell on your own problems and suddenly you’re not so inclined to keep things hidden or leave certain people in the dark. Something you were trying to avoid now seems less of a problem!
Virgo (Aug. 22 – Sept. 22)
The September 2023 horoscope indicates that you should benefit from a situation or a set of circumstances this month that involves very little effort on your part. Nevertheless, you seemed destined to profit in some way or another. It may have more to do with an association or relationship and your good luck might be initially clouded in some way but while others get excited about your prospects you’ll find yourself at a dignified distance and feeling strangely unaffected!
Don’t make the mistake of setting yourself apart from your good luck because you find the circumstances unsettling. I Ching say’s “Don’t confuse modesty with weak good nature that lets things take their own course.” You could fight with your hands whether you want one or not!
Libra (Sept. 22 – Oct. 22)
You can come up with all the answers in the world to explain why you’re not dealing with a current situation but you’re not fooling anyone, least of all yourself! Something needs a great deal of caution and consideration, but that doesn’t mean that it will go away if you ignore it altogether!
This month requires you to take action. It’s also quite likely that you’ll have to ignite the passion in those around you too because people have a tendency to become indifferent to circumstances that are familiar to them.
Sometimes change is the only answer, however unwelcome it may be! You won’t have to face this alone but the initial step must come from you. Even if you’ve left things too late to make the changes that you wanted, you can still make changes that count!
Scorpio (Oct. 22 – Nov. 21)
Play your part within a certain set of circumstances, even though you may be beginning to doubt the part you play! That means sticking to the rules when there seems little point and acting out your role despite the fact that the boundaries of that role appear to have changed.
This could encompass relationships of every kind but will probably have more to do with your current working life. If somebody has moved the goalposts pretend you haven’t noticed; you’ll score more by being a team player! Actions definitely speak louder than words this month.
The people around you won’t be listening but if you appear to keep your head while others panic, there’s a good chance they’ll see reason and fall in line!
Sagittarius (Nov. 21 – Dec. 21)
When we’re first confronted with a problem we treat it with respect; we keep it close and address it regularly. We do our best to overcome the difficulty but if absolutely necessary we adapt to the situation and get on with our lives, remaining aware of the circumstances that must be dealt with.
If the problem persists, however, we become inured to the discomfort and accept it as an inconvenience, forgetting that it still requires our attention.
Don’t push your troubles under the carpet this month; bring them out into the open and do your best to deal with them . . . and keep trying until you resolve them. On the other hand, don’t be too ambitious; aim too high and you’ll fall flat on your face! Clear the rubble first!
Capricorn (Dec. 21 – Jan. 20)
You have the capacity for greatness this month but only if you use your energy and strength in the right areas and only when it’s appropriate. There’s a tendency to rush at everything but a Capricorn on a roll is a bit like a bull in a china shop!
You’re going to feel as if nothing can stop you and you could be right so it’s important that you’re pointing in the right direction. You’re not infallible, even though you feel as if you are, and you’ll need to take extra care and concentrate that energy where it’s needed the most and where it can really be of benefit.
The best advice I can give you is to SLOW DOWN! First and foremost, look before you leap. Then ask yourself if what you’re about to do is really what needs to be done! If it’s not . . . don’t do it!
Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 19)
You could be described by some as stubborn but I prefer to think of you as tenacious; when you find something that deserves your devotion you hang on for dear life!
The only problem is it doesn’t always immediately grab everyone else’s attention – you’re often light years ahead of the pack! Currently, you’re battling upstream, utterly convinced that you’re headed in the right direction but others aren’t as committed and one by one they’re swimming for the shore.
Cling to what is right this month and sooner or later you’ll be able to convince those around you . . . it’s just going to take time! The advantages might not be immediately obvious, particularly to those who choose profit over principles but they will eventually ‘see the light’!
Pisces (Feb. 19 – Mar. 21)
The answer to your current crisis is perseverance! Nothing can’t be remedied in time if you’re prepared to work on it. Not only is luck on your side, but someone influential and reliable is also about to enter your world.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help or advice; you tend to take on too much and end up juggling your own problems with everyone else’s, letting pride prevent you from saying no! It’s time to be a little selfish and ditch the tyrannical aspirations; you can’t be everything to everyone and you shouldn’t want to be!
Move on and you’ll find, with time, that your difficulties are easier to deal with than you anticipated and that letting others handle their problems is often the best way to help!
